The Victorious Power of the God of Jacob.

1 God is aknown in Judah;
His name is bgreat in Israel.
2His
Lit shelter
,
dtabernacle is in eSalem;
His fdwelling place also is in Zion.
3There He gbroke the
Lit fiery shafts of the bow
flaming arrows,
The shield and the sword and the
Lit battle
weapons of war.
Selah may mean: Pause, Crescendo or Musical interlude
Selah.

4You are resplendent,
Or Majestic from the mountains
More majestic than the mountains of prey.
5The lstouthearted were plundered,
Lit They slumbered their sleep
They sank into sleep;
And none of the
Lit men of might have found their hands
warriors could use his hands.
6At Your orebuke, O God of Jacob,
Both
Lit chariot
,
qrider and horse were cast into a dead sleep.
7You, even You, are rto be feared;
And swho may stand in Your presence when once
Lit Your anger is
You are angry?

8You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;
The earth ufeared and was still
9When God varose to judgment,
To save all the humble of the earth. Selah.
10For the
Lit wraths
,
xwrath of man shall praise You;
With a remnant of wrath You will gird Yourself.

11 yMake vows to the Lord your God and zfulfill them;
Let all who are around Him aabring gifts to Him who is to be feared.
12He will cut off the spirit of princes;
He is
Lit awesome to
,
acfeared by the kings of the earth.
